Plot-wise, all we've learned so far about Toy Story 4 is that it will involve Woody and Buzz going on a journey to find Bo Peep, who was absent from Toy Story 3 because she'd been given away years earlier. Side note, I wouldn't mind if a Thanos action figure was thrown into Toy Story 4 as an Easter egg, but I won't hold my breath on that one. It's hard too imagine anything being more devastating than seeing the toys nearly die in an incinerator in Toy Story 3, but with Toy Story 4 nine months away, hopefully we'll see some footage before the year is over to get an idea of what Allen is talking about. Now I'm expecting to see Buzz Lightyear try to take down Lotso, only for the strawberry-smelling stuffed bear to tell the space ranger, "You should have gone for the head." In all seriousness, I'm surprised that Tim Allen picked Avengers: Infinity War of all movies to compare with Toy Story 4 during his appearance on The Talk, but evidently the scenes he's recorded so far have out him through the emotional ringer, just like Infinity War did to audiences this past summer. They've got great characters, but a couple of scenes towards the end were really hard to get through. This one, I couldn't even get through the last scene, ok? I'd love to be a Washington leaker. This Toy Story 4, we've only been through it once, there will be several more incantations, but it is so emotional, it's so funny, it's so big the idea what they've come up with. If you're at all a superhero fan, Infinity War - I'm a big superhero fan - that didn't seem like it was going to work but, it was a lot of vignettes that all made sense. I gotta resist getting emotional because I don't wanna give it away, but this is an incredibly great story.
